Hi! I'm Vera,

A Dutch art therapist with a deep passion for art and personal growth.

In 2017 I graduated and since then my journey has taken me through the world of psychiatric hospitals where I worked with patients who suffered from depression, anxiety, addiction and personality disorders. I witnessed firsthand how creativity can be a powerful tool for healing and self-discovery.

After working as an art therapist in the Netherlands, adventure was calling and I got the opportunity to move to Sweden. This emigration encouraged me to think outside the box. A dream that had quietly lived in the back of my mind now felt like the perfect path forward.

And that dream was to start my Inner Art Ateljé, a space where I can bring together my love for people, creativity and personal growth.

My strength lies in creating a safe, inspiring and cosy atmosphere. One where you feel encouraged to be yourself, explore and uncover new sides in both art and in life.

Just to note, my sessions are not medical treatment and do not replace licensed mental healthcare in Sweden.

My Ateljé

Inner Art Ateljé is a warm and welcoming art studio located in Gamla Hospitalet in Ulleråker, Uppsala — surrounded by a beautiful park landscape with the forest right next door.

With Inner Art Ateljé, I want to create a space that feels truly welcoming and inspiring, a place open to everyone. My hope is to spark your joy for creativity and life, where you can feel seen, understood, and free to be yourself.

I love serving the community, which is why my doors are open in many ways: whether it’s team workshops, private classes, or casual open art cafés where you can drop in and create at your own pace. You are welcome!
